The story

Meet Sharon, who makes every bar

Thank you for stopping by. I have been making soap by hand since 2015, in quantities small enough that I can watch every batch cure on the rack before it ever gets wrapped.

The shop is quiet right now while I restock and reformulate a few favourites. I am planning to reopen before the end of 2026 with shea butter bars, olive oil bars, and the whipped jar soap people keep writing to me about.

Because each batch is small, the first run usually goes quickly. If you would like to know the day the doors open, the mailing list is the only place I announce it.

Ingredients

What goes into every bar

Four working oils, chosen for what they do rather than how they sound on a label.

01

Shea butter

The reason I started making soap. Shea butter is believed to help soften and comfort skin that runs dry, and it gives the bar a creamy, unhurried lather.

02

Coconut oil

For a hard bar and a big, bubbly lather that rinses clean and does not sit on the skin.

03

Olive oil

Gentle and moisturising. It is the oil that makes a bar feel kind to sensitive skin.

04

Sustainable palm oil

Used sparingly, from a sustainable source, for hardness so the bar lasts through more than a week of showers.

The archive of everything I have made

Bars, jars, and packaging from batches that have already sold out. Some of these will come back when the shop reopens.

My promise

Never tested on animals

Nothing I make is tested on animals. Most of my items are vegan, and the oils I buy are organic wherever I can source them that way.

I keep the batches small on purpose. It means I can answer for every bar that leaves the house.

  • Cruelty free, with no animal testing at any stage
  • Most items vegan, and labelled clearly when they are not
  • Organic oils, cut and cured by hand in small batches
